Mission for State Study Sections

Leading universities from each state, district and territory are being invited to appoint PIs and research teams (including graduate students) to co-lead research to develop state-level strategies and research priorities for optimizing medications. These will then roll-up into the national framework. As a rule of thumb, each state study section should include a balanced selection of patient advocates, physicians, nurses and other clinicians, pharmacists, health system leaders, and health plans.
